Ofsted praise for u-xplore

u-xplore has been hailed as an 'outstanding project' by education watchdog Ofsted following a survey inspection programme of 14-19 reforms in the local area.

The survey found that Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is making satisfactory progress in implementing the 14-19 reforms, and praised the quality of information, advice, guidance and support provided locally.

The Ofsted inspector hailed u-xplore as "An outstanding project that engages young people's interest and is very responsive to career and future employment needs."

Sonia Sharp, director of Children and Young People's Services for Rotherham, backed up Ofsted's glowing endorsement of u-xplore.

She said: "I fully endorse the comment made by Peter Green. u-xplore has been a huge success with young people, teachers and employers."
